This qualification reflects the job roles of workers in the accounting industry, including BAS Agents and contracts bookkeepers; and of those employees performing bookkeeping tasks for organisations in a range of industries. It includes preparing and lodging business and installment activity statements, and providing advice or dealing with the Commissioner on behalf of a taxpayer in relation to activity statements. Individuals in these roles apply theoretical and specialist knowledge and skills to work autonomously and exercise judgment in completing routine and non-routine activities.
Assessments may include short written knowledge tests, discussions and oral communication demonstrations, case study exercises, written reports, web based research and reports, final projects and final written exams. To perform at your best, you will probably need to work on the assessments outside of class time.

Application for RPL can be made with the initial application or can be made within two weeks of the course commencement using the RPL Application Form and by providing supporting documents.
